The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is accepting Florida Forever grant applications for two grant cycles — one closing in November and another closing in January.
Both grant cycles for the Division of State Lands are being conducted through the Florida Communities Trust.
The Stan Mayfield Working Waterfronts grant application cycle will run from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1, 2023. The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. EDT on Nov. 1, 2023. FCT has over $4 million in appropriations to award during this grant cycle.
The Parks and Open Space grant application cycle will run from Oct. 10, 2023 through Jan. 10, 2024. The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. EDT on Jan. 10, 2024. FCT has received $15 million in appropriations to fund grants during this application cycle.
