North Florida Land Trust’s Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration

When: March 22

Where: The Yards in Ponte Vedra Beach

Tickets are now on sale for the annual event, which highlights the nonprofit land conservation organization’s work, celebrates its accomplishments and looks ahead to the future. The annual meeting will begin with a mimosa reception followed by brunch, a program and an awards celebration. This year’s keynote speaker is Land Trust Alliance CEO Ashley Demosthenes, who joined the national organization in early 2025. General admission tickets to the annual meeting are $125 for NFLT members and $150 for non-members. 


Florida Association of Environmental Professionals Annual Conference

PFAS Forum VI

When: May 13-15

The PFAS Forum VI is being organized to provide an understanding of the environmental issues related to PFAS, educate the environmental/remediation industry and regulatory community on the potential risks from PFAS, as well as discuss regulatory and legal issues, monitoring, treatment, cleanup and disposal technologies.

The purpose of the conference is to provide a professional forum for in-depth discussion on the state’s burgeoning resilience programs.  The conference program will feature concurrent sessions on:  Beach management, energy, gray and green infrastructure, cyber, transportation, and smart planning.

A cross-industry approach is needed to ensure the preservation of Florida’s unique natural resources and thriving communities from the effects of rising seas, weather extremes, intensified flooding, and coastal erosion. The Florida Resilience Conference is our response to this challenge.
