EnviroServe, a Savage Company, has been busy providing environmental services to help Florida communities recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

With two Florida locations, Tampa and Mulberry, EnviroServe teams were ready to respond quickly after the hurricane hit.

They’ve worked primarily in Fort Myers and surrounding communities, helping residents and businesses clean up storm debris, and transporting and processing waste materials.

Director of Operations Gary Anglesey says EnviroServe Team Members have used vacuum trucks to remove water from streets, basements, and other flooded areas. They’ve also provided roll-off boxes that have been loaded with material from damaged homes and property, food waste from grocery stores, and other debris.

EnviroServe has supported large retailers by providing and managing services for portable toilets, laundry trailers, and shower trailers set up in parking lots to benefit store employees and members of the community.

Additionally, EnviroServe has transported damaged materials to its waste treatment and processing facility in Mullbery, so they can be properly disposed.

Team Members in Tampa and Mulberry also received support and resources from company personnel and locations outside the state, including equipment brought in from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland.
“Our EnviroServe teams have a lot of experience in responding to natural disasters and other emergencies, and understand the importance of responding quickly and taking care of business safely and professionally to help people move forward,” said Anglesey. “We have a long history of supporting our customers and communities in Florida. It’s important to us to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. This tragedy is so difficult for so many people, and we are happy to play our part to make things a little bit better and help get things back to normal.”

With locations across the country, EnviroServe provides comprehensive environmental services including emergency response, environmental mitigation and waste management services.●
